    that's my next purchase for my truck.. i'm hoping next month my work schedule will allow for me to take a day off and get out to allens shop.

    i suppose i'll just wait until i get the tune done before i do the thermo mod.

    You can put it in now, you wont see a gain or loss but your motor will run a little cooler! Plus it will be one less thing to do later, Although it takes no time at all to install a stat.

    There isnt a power gain in stats, But it allows you to run more timing before detonation occurs.
    In other words if your stock your not going to see a gain but if you are tuned for a 180 stat and have one installed you can run the additional timing, its not the stat that gives the power, its the tune&#33;
