u can get them on ebay prtty cheap, look on ebay shramm usually has some for sale on there. also try hi-wayautoparts.com. u can get a 5.3 a lot cheaper, but the 6.0 is what i optioned for. i picked mine up for $1,700(30,000 miles), but initially the guy wanted around $2,300. good luck finding a 6.0HO but if ur wanting to add boost later, id recommend sticking with the lower compression 6.0(LQ4). Call around to your local bone yards. I picked up my LS1/4L60E for $1650 complete with harness, computer and all accessories.

I'd go with the boneyard idea. My local salvage yard quoted me a price of $650 for a LM7 out of an '02 Silverado with 80,000 miles. The price was complete from intake manifold to oil filter.
