and it really makes me miss my camaro.. i need to get some go fast mods soon.

here's my plan; if i stay with the 5.3(l59):
volant forced ram-air, pacesetter long tubes (ceram coated), comp cams xtreme rpm high lift [222/224 .566/.568 112lsa], fuddle 3000 stall, nelson tune, eaton differential w/ richmond 4.10's and a radix when my wallet permits.

if i do a build-up: either an lq9 408 stroker, or the ls1/ls2 402 stroker.. i'm leaning towards the ls1/ls2 seeing as it is a bit lighter being aluminum. but for $1000 less and 65 lbs of extra weight, an iron lq9 based stroker is very appealing over an ls2 motor, and is a direct bolt in unlike the ls2.

as for now, this is my daily driver.. i'd build the stroker over a period of 2yrs or so. money is tight right now and i'd like to go new on everything. maybe.....

    any suggestions/input?

The mods you listed for the 5.3 are great. Maybe we'll cross paths on 80 again and can wind 'em out a bit.

Until you get the Radix anyway, then I'm out.

i'd damn sure would like to think i could take you, but everything in my truck is stock besides the exhaust.. and even the exhaust i had installed wasn't what i wanted..

but, either of the options i have in my head are going to take a little sweat and tears and take a decent sized divot out of my spending allowance.. it's obviously going to be a few months/years before i'm satisfied. even then, who knows what i'll have cooking in the back of my head.

i'll be keeping an eye out for that truck though for sure!

It'll be the black blur going about 110.

Just kidding - I try to be good unless I run across someone who wants to get feisty. What time are you usually going by the Beltline exit?

    haha

it all depends on my day.. i usually try to only put out a 10hr day and get out of there by 3pm.. but summers are always the busiest time of the year for us, so it's been nearer to 4-5:30ish lately.
