Oh yeah, it sounds sweet too. You'll need springs that will handle the lift but it's an awesome cam. When I sprayed the NOS, the engine was a beast. It was recommended by Comp that I go back to a different cam since 99% of my drive time is naturally aspirated. They told me that the cam could still be a benefit if I was doing nothing but racing this engine and spraying NOS or using some kind of forced induction but they suggested a whole new profile for the 408 engine.

Is this the cam you were currently running Red? Why would you lose hp? I mean I can see not getting the full potential out of your engine but actually losing hp over stock... ?

Yeah, that was the cam I was running. The design was intended for a totally different purpose than what I was using it for. Comp told me to expect HP losses using that cam NA. With spray or FI it is hard to beat the profiles of that cam.
