You have to disassemble the tranny and swap out the output shaft as well. Its shorter on the 4wd.

I found a good deal on a complete pullout with low milage, the catch is it is out of a 4x4 tahoe. (Up here in North Dakota there isn&#39;t alot of 2wd pickups) I want a 2wd tranny, what is different between the 4x4 tranny and the 2wd tranny, can I make it work? Or should I just keep looking for a pullout with a 2wd tranny. Can I just put on a 2wd tail shaft housing and call it good?
