Here's one for you guys. When I turn my truck off the motor and tranny shut down as normal but as it comes to a complete stop there is a Clunk I can feel through the drive shaft. Kind of reminds me of when you get slop in the drive train and you put in and out of gear and you hear as clunk. Anyone else have this?

Ewww....doesn't sound good. Could you have a dirty/leaking fuel injector and it's just dieseling on one cylinder?

That's possible. Stupid me loaned my injector kit out and I haven't seen it since!

That's what mine sounds like but it's only when I trun the engine off. Pretty strange but it doesn't seem to be hurting anything at the moment.

Mine is nice and quiet when it shuts down. Surely it's not the clutch plates in the torque convertor doing that. That's just such an odd description of what it's doing. Have you tried setting your parking brake first with it in gear or nuetral and then shutting down the engine? Could it be transmission related? Maybe it's the last surge of the hydraulic pressure in the transmission moving something or releasing a clutch pack or something like that as the engine shuts down.
