Thread: First Dyno Run

    Made my first dyno run today (266hp / 296 tq) with the following mods:
    ECSB w/5.3
    K & N FIPK
    Edelbrock Shorties
    JBA 8mm wires
    Magnaflow cat-back
    Nelson 91 Hot Tune

    cam (Comp 212/218 558/563 115lsa) springs (918's) and rods comming soon...

    Hmmm..... I don't know if thats good or not with all the mods you have.

    after re-reading this it looks like he has not installed the cam yet.
    is this 2wd or 4wd?

    ok not stock anymore...13.3 at 101
    Now with front mount turbo... new times soon

    No Cam yet. I&#39;ll be installing it in a few weeks. It is 2wd with 20&#39;s

    I think the numbers look kind of low but I&#39;m not sure.

    It&#39;s really hard to judge the numbers. You could make 260HP on that dyno and go across the street the same day and read 300HP. It&#39;s all subjective. Good numbers no matter what since my LS1 only dyno&#39;d about 243. The dyno is a good tool to see what gains you make when making changes. It&#39;s best to go to the same dyno every time.

    well the 20s are not helping but it should be a good base to start from. Like Red said it will let you know your gains. I need to do mine also.

    you say ECSB w/5.3 what does that stand for?
    2004 EXC Silverado 6.2L
    Mods:
    6.2L L92, Ported and Polished stage 3 heads, 95mm Throttle Body, 100mm MAF, NA, Pacesetter LT Headers, Magnaflow X-Pipe Muffler, Electric Fans, 160* thermostat, 2" Drop Shackles, Hellwig Sway Bars Front and Rear, Monroe Reflex Shocks, NGK Spark Plugs, AMW Oil Catch Can, 17"x10" wheels on Kuhmo Tires.
