So this motor mount thing is getting on my nerves. This is the offer. Pay someone 200-300 bucks to get the motor sitting on the mounts properly. Its in the truck, but the oil pan is hitting the rack and pinion. Tranny is still connected. I dont know if you have to buy new mounts, some people say yes some say no. Any takers just PM me.

    Remember its a 6.0 going into a 99 NBS with original 4.3

I know I remember seeing a custom oil pan that was made to go around the rack and pinion. Let me see if I can find it again for you.

Here's one pic from S&P. I know there's another one with a piece of aluminum pipe welded in the front.

A person would think that a factory truck pan would fit in a truck though. That makes no sense to me unless someone changed out the oil pan. The pic your showing is an F-body pan, I believe.

I didnt post that pic. As for the oilpan on the truck. i believe it is factory. It might be because it is a 6.0 and largest size motor in a 1/2 ton was a 5.3?? but i thought it was all the same. Any takers??

I'd give you a hand but Waco is miles away. Surely you'll get it figured out.

Red, I posted the pic and yes it's an F-body. If we had pics we could sure help you out a little more. I'd be glad to help you out but I live pretty far away from you myself.

I bet this would clear! LOL

BTW, The 6.0 oil pan sump is pretty large. I know of a 4.3 swap that was hitting and they went with the 5.3 pan instead. This was in an S-10.

That's at www.drysump.com. I was just joking but they have some pretty awsome setups.

I need one of those dry systems. Only thing really different this weekend was I had a full 6 quarts of oil in the pan. Last week it was down a quart and ran faster with about the same track tempature.
