Yeah, it was $325 shipped. SOLD. Silver_Whistler had it.

Well thanks for looking anyway, I appreciate it. Plus that's a 3200 - probably a little too much I would think. Everyone seems to encourage staying at 3000 or less.

Still undecided....wish I knew for sure, for MY uses, if I needed an additional tranny cooler (it has a stock one)...

A larger cooler wouldn't hurt, especially if you ever use it for towing or back to back dragstrip passes.

I don't forsee towing. Maybe hauling some stuff in the bed from time to time, but nothing too substantial.

I think I'm going to try a Fuddle 3000 and just spring for the cooler. I think they're relatively inexpensive.

I like Fuddles upgrade policy and their warranty better than Yanks.

4 of you in here...must be you all fell asleep reading the thread....lol,,,

Billy thinks my Vig is really loose. It's a 3600 and I love how it performs. It kills the fuel mileage around town but it cruises nice. Any time I accelerate around town it jumps right to about 2500 or so before it grabs on solid. Don't get me wrong, it still accelerates under 2500 rpm but it doesn't truly pull hard until the engine spins up. It only takes the engine a split second to get up there.

Alrighty. I think I may just go ahead with the Fuddle. I'll give him a call tomorrow and talk to him. I don't know why 3200 seems too high to me. It's only 200 rpm higher than a 3000.

But then 3400 is only 200 higher than that.

And a 3600....you get the idea...

    Where's the cutoff...?

Some of the guys on LS1Tech are running 4200+ convertors. That's wild. I guess that would be alright for a strip car or if they have a really tight convertor. Yeah Moze, that's only 200+200+200 more than what I already have, huh.

lol....exactly...might as well tack another 200 on there. or just round it to a 4,000. Or a nice even 5000....
