Got stopped for street racing

I admit, i do my fair share of street racing on the weekend, more than I should, bc its a little bit not worth it. So me and Dustin were on "the valley" friday night, thats were alot of kids go and hang out and race and stuff, if you got the balls to. And this 198? chev pulls up next to us at the light. He has the loudest shittiest exhaust ever. Hes sitting the reving at the light. It turns green and I just do nothing put creep forward and drive normal, why he takes off and blows me away (bc i didnt race, waiste of gas). He swings a right into sonic and I look behind me and yes, a cop with his lights no. Pulling me over!! what did I do? So luckily it was a rookie cop, bc he was really nervous and didnt have a badge, but had a partner with him that was a cop. He was like why were you racing. And i was like sir, I wasnt racing, I wouldnt race that anyway. He went to his car. and came back and said. You know you have a really nice truck here. I would hate to tow a really nice truck for street racing. Don't do it again and be careful. He gave me my license and ins. back and I was free to go.

So the one time I dont try to race someone I get pulled over for racing. Wow I lucked out!

I wonder why he didn't chase down the POS truck? Maybe it was a bait.

Dude, my scrotum shrunk just readin&#39; this&#33;&#33; It&#39;d really make me think a few more times before runnin&#39;. Course I usually try to run down the street at the legal limit so I can scope out the streets first.

I had the same thing happen to me back in the late 80&#39;s. The exact thing happened except I got the ticket and the other guy got away. I took the charge to court and won. The cop that pulled me over was on the left side of the street and he said he saw my tires spin. At the time I didn&#39;t have my posi in and the only tire that spun was the right and it didn&#39;t spin b/c I didn&#39;t get on it plus the other truck was on my left.
