i cant find a spec.. try to take a digital ohm meter and measure across terminal a to b, and than c to d.. the static restiance should be close to the impedance of the speaker, it should be a dual voice coil speaker (or i think it might be two side by side). i checked a bunch of years and none has the spec,

I wished that worked. Since stereo output works in AC not DC, I have always been told it's not as simple as using an ohm meter. I've never measured one with a meter that matched the value on the speaker.

where is your sense of adventure???? dare to step out of the box. but for real, just try to power the bose speaker up with whatever you have to see what it has to offer. you already have the replacement speaker right??? its fun to blow up stuff...let us all know how that works..

i like to have fun but cant see killing a good speaker, besides its too much work putting in the console then having to take it back out for a speaker change. when i do something i try to do it right the first time. LOL !!My sense of adventure is fading the older i get cuz i dont have lots of time anymore.

take the speaker to the wall outlet!!!!!! let that bitch burn......burn i say!!!!. just a little fun is ok every now and than. i watched a guy take a 15" square kicker to the wall outlet, 115v of ac pounding, you never seen a speaker move like that before, its freeking the coolest thing i've ever seen...
