Yeah, grinding the heads off and then punching the rivets out was the easiest way to remove the front hangers. I tried the air chisel and worked my tail off getting them done. Then I tried drilling the center of the rivet out and blowing the head of the rivet off with the chisel. Finally, grinding the head off was quick and painless and only cost me part of one grinding wheel.
