So the other night me and a friend were at the local strip where alot of ricers go and race, haha. Neways, I happend to line up against a Mustang Mach 1. Car looked and sounded badass. Either an 03 or 04. Not sure. But neways he looked at my truck and kinda grinned and shook his head as to say my truck wasnt shit. My friend asked him what he ran in the 1/4 and he said 15! Is that accurate!?? I thought for sure it would be quicker than that. We caught like 5 or 6 lights but the dumbass would never run with me. Kinda wish he would have to see what it had! I guess thats just another ford owner for you though.

Yeah, I think 13s are more like it - without mods.

I've never been outrun by a stock GT, only Cobras, until the 2005s came out. What's so special about the Mach I?

    The MOD 4.6 in the 2003 MACH1

The powerplant that shakes the scoop and the competition is a MOD 4.6-liter, 4-valve, dual-overhead-cam V-8. The engine makes use of specially calibrated cams, a modified upper intake to accommodate the ram-air system, a heated PCV, a forged crank (cast crank in automatic transmission application) and performance exhaust manifolds combining to produce an expected output in excess of 300 horsepower. Upon completion of testing and certification, actual horsepower and torque data will be available.

    Hmmmm.....more powerful 4 valve engine.
