Wow, I just found the best deal on a head gasket set for those swapping heads. $99 from GMPerformanceParts or SDPC2000.com for almost everything required other than the seals for the coolant crossover tube. Included are a set of (8) intake manifold seals 12533587, a pair of foam pads that go under the intake to stop hot air flow under the intake, (10) 10mm head bolts that go to the inside area of the head 12558840, (16 = 2 sets) 11mm head bolts 11588291, (2) valve cover gaskets 12560696, (2) multi-layer D-shaped port exhaust gaskets 12576221 and (2) MLS head gaskets 12573940.

This kit if for the LS1 5.7 engine and is PN 12499217 and covers all LS1 F-body engines. If you have a Corvette the kit is PN 12499218. They have other kits available for the other engines. This is absolutely the best price a person can get for the head set. Last time I did this I bought all the gaskets seperately and it cost me over $200!!!!

Oh yeah, they threw in a bonus bag of intake seals!! Those are over $20 at OriellyAuto.

Maybe Hummertech can get us the part numbers for the other kits available.

If you need this to fit an f-body engine that has the four shorter end bolts, you can order this kit plus four 12560745 bolts to convert it to the early block requirements.

Would this kit work on a 03 LQ9 with a 4.030 bore? Thanks

No, you'd have to get the correct set for that. That PN is for the 5.7L piston bore, quite a bit smaller. You could probably use the set for the LQ4 with that bore. Not for sure though but I think there is that much overlay in the head gasket to still use the stock 6.0L head gasket. Just call a GM Performance Parts dealer such as ScogginsDickey or search their online site at SDPC2000.com for a set for your application. Ask if there is a head swap gasket set available for the 6.0L engine. Let us know if there is a PN for it and we can post it for future reference.

I thoguht the 6 liter and a 5.7 have the same bore... 4.000, however, after a little looking I realize that I am thinking of the older 350 engines and the 5.7 or 346 has a 3.90 bore. As for the .030 that it is being bored I guess that's where the difference is. I'll do a little more lookin an the net thanks!!
