the truck has been down for a while with lots of new goodies. I converted to an LS2 90mm throttle body and west coast cylinder heads modified j tube for the radix with a new style volant box with air tube. added 4 new AIS shocks, machined 5 kidney bean holes in my smoothies to let the brakes breathe and added caltrax bars. I have not been back to the dyno but i ran even with a 996 twin turbo and beat up on a charger SRT 8 over the weekend. I ran into the same M3 that I toyed with earlier in the year and really killed him this time. mustangs are speedbumps and im looking for a gallardo or trick evo to play with next. i still need some LTs and duals to finish the project. very fun for sure.

i have not gont to the track with slicks, but with the 295/45/20 kdw2 tires at 28psi they work pretty darn well. i cant expect much with over 400rwtq at 2000rpm. i have eibach front springs and hotchkis front and rear sway bars with the edelbrock ais shocks. makes for a good all around package without having to go with bags.

    Hey blackandred,

Cool ride. I have the hotchkis front/rear sway bars as well - put them on back in 2000. Also got the Edel AIS shocks back in 2000. Have never really tested them until a few months back when I came up on a dip that I was NOT expecting to be as bad as it was. I was certain I was going to hear the bang of the bottom. WOW - I was suprised, those things held their own and handled it way better than I though and it was just a cool ride over something I know would have destroyed my undercarriage had I not had them.

Take care and good luck on the Gallardo!
