To mate your '95 trans, you'll need a flat flexplate that come on 6.0, the flexplate spacer, and longer bolts. You'll need to elongate the holes for torque converter bolts on the flexplate.

I blew my '95 transmission 2 months after the swap, had 4L65E fully built (servos, Red Alto Eagle Powerpack, sleeved input drum, billet input shaft, Beast sunshell, yada yada yada) and ran it behind a tuned 5.3 w/ headers till it blew 2 years later. Don't think your transmission is invincible.

    95 C1500 LM7, built 4L60e, Circle D 3200, LT's, Nelson tune, open differential, 3.42, and LS1 e-fans. Tractionless

Stock spacers? Are the longer bolts a specific application ( out of a 2002 or something else) or do I just buy a longer bolt

Jesus. i cant believe the flexplate/spacer ordeal is still in question after all this time. you can use the dished flexplate with a spacer on the trans side of it with your 60e. Longer bolts are not app specific. they are obviously required due to the extra thickness of the spacer. i did same swap as you. read my thread. 60e lasted 2 months but was stock with 200k on it. went to built 80e. no problems since. your gonna love the six-O...

I have a flat flexplate with spacer that i ended up not using in my swap if your interested. no bolts tho. i used em. but summit sells them in a pack for nothing or you can just get some grade 8's or 10.9's from your local hardware store. let me know.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but ditch the 60 and find yourself an 80. I'm about to do the same swap as you (LQ9 into '98 ecsb) and from what I've read, the 60 just gives out after a while with all that newfound power. Plus you're going to be pedal happy for at least a month which is gonna add a bunch of extra stress to your trans anyways. Let me save you any further questioning, because I've already done the research, find an 80 out of any donor 2000s 2500 truck that already came with a 6.0L and it should bolt up no problems

Id love to put an 80 in my 2 door when I do my LS swap but I dont know how well it will fit considering my truck has 4WD with the shifter for it on the floor. Did any of the gmt400s have a 4L80 with 4x4 on the floor? I think the 4wd guys would also have to swap out the tailhousing as well

Yep, lots of 400's had the 80 with a floor shift transfer. My 6.5 dually has that combination as well as every 94-00 big block or diesel that I have owned.
