Shit thats a good idea. But I would have to pull it back off to do that. On the OBS radiators (aftermarket that is) there is a nipple that is just below the cap on the tank that is capped off. I wonder if I can somehow use that.

What am I missing for the fuel gauge to read correctly? It is pegged past full and I know I only have about a 1/4 tank in there.

All you need to remove is the throttle body. I drilled and tapped mine with it in the truck.
I believe there is some changes needed in the tune for the gas gauge.

Just a heads up for anyone doing this swap and using Lextech's AC kit, The belt number he lists may not fit 100%. Mine was about 3/4" too long. I ended up getting a Gates # K061058. Fits perfect for my accessory layout.

So far so good. Been driving the truck around since Wednesday and have some minor hiccups to work out. Mostly tuning stuff. I have a stumble now when I am at a stoplight. Feels like a misfire but its not setting any codes.
She runs good an strong and shifts like a beast. I have to upgrade to a limited slip before my open diff breaks.
I finally got my o2's in and wired up. So I should do better on fuel economy.
All I need to do now is get the tach straightened out in the tune as well as my gas gauge. It was working fine before the swap and now it reads past full at full sweep. I filled my tank up just so I am good till its fixed. I thought that maybe the DIC I installed from the donor vehicle would be accurate but I guess it wont be till I find and fix the problem. Could this be a tuning thing as well? I am using EFI Live.

The Gen3 calibration will not properly operate the 98 Gas gauge. PM sent.

capricefrk013,
Please let us know what you end up doing to get your fuel gauge working. I recently finished my 6.0 swap and the only thing not working is my fuel gauge. I have repinned the LS PCM as Lextech has advised me and many others here. Mine is also stuck at around the 3 o'clock position (past full). I know it is all in the tune now. Thanks

Will do. I need to read my tune and send it off to fix.
I need to figure out my o2's. They did good last night but the CEL came on this morning and it reads, P0134 & P0154. No activity bank 1 and 2. I may just put new ones in and see how that goes. The donor truck didnt have a cluster so I dont know if the light was on plus I didnt read it to scan for what it may have had in it.
