    This^^^^ location is super important. Texas Louisiana Oklahoma are all half the price of Arizona California or the northeast. I would keep an eye on your local craigslist and call more junk yards. Also most junk yards care more about what vehicle it came out of than what the motor is actually worth. For example a LQ4 from a 2500hd Silverado won't necessarily be the same price as one from a express van or 2500 suburban. Also a lq9 from a SSS won't be the same as one from an escalade or denali. At least my local junk yards are stupid like that. Of course it might help if we knew where you lived.

    Even if I got one shipped for $200 from your state that would be cheaper than here. I'm living in DC (22211 area code) but I'm from NC (27944 area code) and they are both showing $1200+ prices.

    I have 2x of everything complete that you need for your swap, 2x 4.8 liters, 2x 60E's, 2x complete harnesses( 00, and 02) 6x CPU's, 4x intakes( 3x trucks, 1x car)...... Let me know what parts you would like if interested, location is NJ.
