My 5.3 swapped sierra first victim

My sierra has been together for about two weeks now. Runs and drives very well it must be the awesome tune I got thanks Nelson. I got a alongside a cutlass tonite 80s era a friend of mine he has been hassling me about finishing my truck. My 5.3 lm7 has a vinci trucker cam circle d 3200 and 4.11s in it along with the tune. We were rolling about 15 mph and we both stood on it I left that thing by the time i hit drive I had 4 truck lengths on him. The cutlass has a 406 sbc with a cam and some world products torquer heads and some headers. I wasn't sure how the race was gonna go. Then he said he wanted to race from a stand still. He has a small stall and 3.73 gears. I shredded the street tires and finally hooked about half way thru second he had a length on me I ran him down before we got to 100 mph. There is no arguing about what's faster when you get ran down from behind. All this in a 4220 pound truck with me in it.

Here is what the truck looked like last year. Right after I lowered it the about a month after this I got stripped apart for paint and interior and the ls swap along with a 12 bolt installed.

Rear end is from a 1970 2 wheel drive half ton had the 5x5 bolt pattern and smaller 1/2 inch studs so I switched the front studs to match. It is a total of 1 5/8 inches shorter overall so I gained roughly 3/4 icy each side them are 275/60/15 on all four corners on 8 inch wheels. They tuck easy with room to spare. 4/6 Static drop
