damn, you aint gotta be an ass! werent you a new guy once? I dont like how the 4.8 has to rev to make its power and thought the 5.3 made lower end power, thats why i asked the question. everyone on here praises the 6.0, why? because its bigger, well, the 5.3 is also bigger than what i got, again, thats why i asked.

I was born an ass and proud of it.! I was new, yes, but I didn't ask many questions. Go big or go home. I agree totally with pl4yboy, if you wanna tow by a dirtymax.

alright, you dont learn if you dont ask, thats why im asking and going to keep on asking, you can get pissed at me but i want to learn from ya, so just get mad..lol..obviously i cant afford a duramax or even another truck right now. The most i really tow is this boat and it and the trailer weighs around 3100 pounds. On completely flat land the 4.8 is ok but the LEAST little incline and it has to scream its ass off to get up it and still loses speed..i thought maybe the 5.3, being bigger, and longer stroke, would pull that load easier, but i was wrong, but glad i asked or i wouldnt know!
