What am I talking about? What are you talking about lol, I've had this set up over a year now and have no issues, 4hi, 4low, and auto all work as its Spose to. If my transfer case was chain drivin then it would be diff, but a lot of mud trucks run lower gears in the front so the front pulls harder in the mud, not for hwy use of course, do some research b4 you down what u don't know much about, I can drive 45mph with my set up.

But I do agree with you on upgrading the motor instead of replacing it . But gears will help him a lot , and will make good use of the power he has.
