I love the look of them as well. I will say though that I do live the mid 70's - early 80's trucks also. Would love to have a cclb slammed with a twin turbo dmax.

Pay attention to that Perfect Launch cover...the one I bought for my 8.8 leaked like crap. Ended up putting RTV on the diff, cover and sandwiching a gasket in between before it quit leaking. Also the bolts peeled the paint off the first time I tightened them down and I had to repaint it by the time I got it on and off 10x trying to get it to stop leaking. I wish I had spent a little more money and got an Ultimate.

Well I got the green 54 just about finished. It'll b completely done this weekend. It just needs a full wet sand buff and wax and I gotta put my new grille in once it comes from Lmc. Check it out on Barrett-Jackson's website.

Seriously if you can find a cab and fenders that are not worth doing that type of resto on let me know. I would LOVE to build a rat rod like that.

Check out French lake auto parts in French lake mn they might have an old ratty one you could rat rod out.

But yesterday I finally got back to my 97. Didn't have much time but I got the garage clean and moved the truck out of the corner and un covered it. I got the box off of and started pull the rearend out to paint everything.
