    im a dumba**

so i replaced my intake manifold gasket last night along with my knock sensors because i had the old style orange gasket. after i get the intake loosened and ready to come off i remembered i had to remove the egr bracket because i had a plug in there instead of the intake manifold for some dumb reason. as i move the bracket i see the plug is super loose and thats where my leak was all along. but i still updated to the new gaskets and did my knock sensors and all that jazz. i felt so stupid when i realized it but the whole process only took 2 hours so it wasnt a big deal. have ya'll ever made stupid mistakes like that?

Happens all the time. Just learn from it. I've tried to fix parts on my own truck just to find the cause was something else. At least it wasn't a customer's vehicle and wasn't really that expensive.

When I was in middle school I used to race the super mini class and had a Yamaha big wheel 80 punched out to 105cc. I was getting the bike ready for the weekend and it would not start. Tried all the tricks....nothing. So, I proceeded to take apart the carb, found nothing wrong, cleaned it, tried again.......nothing. I then dissasembled the reed valves to maybe find a broken one......nothing. I was running out of time so I just put it back together. As I was raising the fuel tank to attach it to the bike again I realized it was empty I filled it with fuel and something amazing happened....it started!!! Happens to everyone lol some mistakes are worse than others.

Most sports require one ball, motocross requires two.

Racing isn't a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.

I did the same thing the other day to my blazer after the cam swap. It would halfass fire and shut off again and again. I checked everything; all sensors plugged in, fuel pump running, and so on. I knew I put the cam in right but was about to tear it down just to check. Then it dawned on me, check the tank. Had a Slingblade moment. "It ain't got no gas in it." Put gas in it and it fired up. I felt like such an idiot. Sometimes it's the simplest things that are the easiest to overlook.
