I use Photobucket. From there, each picture is given an IMG code. Then, when you go to post, just insert the IMG code in the post for the pic you want to post.

Oh ok. I have photo bucket but I thought it just posted links instead of the actual picture. But maybe thats because I was using the url instead of img code. I'll try that next time. Thanks.

I'm gonna check out hp tuners and efi live and see if I can get the vats removed myself. ive never done it before but im not bad with computers. I won't be using it too often as I just won't be swapping motors all the time. But it might be a useful tool to have. I have a couple buddies who want to try a swap so it could come in handy then, and also minor tweaks for future upgrades... :-) is there one recomended over the other?

hey again. just an update. picked up the DBW pedal/TAC/Harness today out of an 05 escalade so it should work perfect. and i got the harness all disconnected and removed from the motor yesterday so i can start going through it. labeled everything that was hooked up but there is still a lot that wasnt that i need to figure out what they go to. ill dive into it in a day or two.

i also got a list of the rest of the major parts i need which im ready to purchase tonight. please let me know if i missing anything so i can add it to the shopping cart.

    dirty dingo mounts
    Walker CalCat Catalytic Converters 81713
Bosch Automotive 15730 - Bosch Premium Universal Type Oxygen Sensors X 4
Chevrolet Performance 12563532 - Chevrolet Performance Flexplate Shim
Chevrolet Performance 19257940 - Chevrolet Performance Flexplate Bolts X 6
ACDelco EP381 - ACDelco Electric Fuel Pumps
    Allstar Performance ALL34153 - Allstar Performance O2 Sensor Bungs X 4
    PCM tune

i still need to do something about the fuel tank pressure sensor in my obs tank that doesnt have one.. i read somewhere that they are used on returnless style systems and i have two lines on my rails... so i i will be using the return line setup since the truck already has the lines. do i need the pressure sensor? if so can i just add it to the tank or is there more involved? also looks like im going to need a fuel level sensor too??? can that be added? i know nothing about all the emissions crap and thats whats got me confused and unfortunately that is a major part of this project. ive tried looking all over the internet but not many people are doing emission swaps so there is little info. anyone with smog knowledge please chime in!!

thanks mikey for the tip on posting pics. worked perfect!

anybody know where i can get the piece to weld onto the exhaust pipe to bolt to the manifold? idk what its called. the thing thats shaped kinda like a triangle with three bolt holes and one big hole in the middle for the exhaust to flow. i thought it was a "flange" but looking through summit they consider a flange a gasket... i guess its more like a collector flange but that seems to be more geared to headers. i need 2 of them so i can mock up the exhaust so i can get it running to take to the exhaust shop to do the final install.

I ended up using the stock 6.0 dual exhaust system from the donor truck. It has twin 3" pipes to twin catalytic converters back to the muffler. From the muffler it's a single exhaust outlet.
As for the mounts, I used ones similar to these:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS-LSX-Engin...b0ed0f&vxp=mtr

If you are shopping for mounts, be sure to get the 1" set back plates. This way, your trans will end up where it should be for all your driveshafts to work. When I did mine, I did not know about the 1"setback and ordered standard plates. That bumped my trans/transfer case forward 1" of where it should have been. My driveshafts still worked but it did tighten up the space in front of the engine between the fan and the radiator. It did help though in running the 6.0's standard exhaust in the OBS truck.

i must be doing something wrong because nobody has mentioned that the clamshell bracket hits the a/c bolt boss on the passenger side and hits the oild looer lines on the driver side... i got the clamshells all ground down smooth, got the adapters on the block WITH THE TRIANGLE PORTION TOWARDS THE FRONT AND THE TWO HOLES ARE ON TOP WITH THE SINGLE HOLE ON BOTTOM. then when i try to put the clamshell on, it hits the block and cooler lines. am i missing something? do i have to grind one or the other and move my oil lines? ive looked around and cant find anyone else with this issue. im tyring to put this thing in but i cant get the damn brackets on! anybody?

Im not aware of any way to use the LS compressor in the stock location without notching the frame. Normally you have to relocate it up top.
