It's crazy how nuts the mopar guys are about their vehicles. Should be fun to see the damage you can do with this build. Should turn out pretty amazing. Cam, stall, and a 150 shot I bet it's got low 11s in it. From what I understand the suspension in these trucks is supposed to really plant the tires well. Cutting a good 60' shouldn't be too tough and that motor is awesome.

Yeah, MOPAR guys are different. They have spent years arguing over the only 2 intake manifold options (stock or M1) and head options (stock or eddelbrock aluminum), and the only one tuner (sean at hemifever). But another $7K 5.9 magnum motor, with EQ heads, comp cam, Scat rotating assembly and all the other associated parts, will burn itself up when trying to make over 300 hp, just like every other version of these I have owned. I have tried high compression, low compression with KB blower, big heads (220 cfm flow), big cam (.550 lift), big throttle body (52 mm yay), only to find these motors just can't consistently make over 300 hp without overheating due to poor cooling passages.
And 11 or 12 mpg is a real killer.
But I really like the chassis and interior of these little trucks. So I thought I would go a totally different direction.
