It's just today's society Mark. Everyone expects to have things given to them. People who use hard work and determination to get where they want to be are few and far between. Who cares if you don't see a direct benefit the moment you vote? I promise that the outcome of the next couple of elections is going to determine the fate of the USA. Your vote does matter, regardless what you believe. If you aren't doing it for yourself, vote for the sake of every other US citizen that has their livelihood at stake. Common courtesy if you will... Another dying practice.

This actually makes sense. The majority of the population (American and Canadian) are oblivious to what's happening. The Canadian gov't recent passed a law that limited mortgages to 25 year amortization periods. Everyone hated it, and questioned it. Seriously? Do you people not remember 2009? People need to get there heads out of there coddled asses and look around. Sure the US gov't isn't going to collapse, it's not going to be anarchy, however whats going to happen in the next 4 years is going to make the Great Depression look like a joke. That happens in the US, we get dragged down too, we are each others biggest trade partners. 60% of businesses in Canada are American owned. This is why I'm watching and scrutinizing everything that happens across the border. I just wish everyone on both sides of the line would do the same. North America is being led by the hand to it's downfall, and is happy about it. The hell is the matter with us?

This is 100% true David, but I firmly believe that if a person doesn't vote, they shouldn't be allowed to bitch about the circumstances they're in.

It might be the lesser of two evils, but you can choose to vote for the lesser, instead of the greater. By not voting you are literally doing nothing while some Joe Blow who has an agenda gets it done one vote easier.
