    Welcome. You will need to get in contact with Erica @ Nelson Performance to get decals. Not many member in San Diego let alone California, due mostly to the nature of this site being pure performance and the emissions laws being so tight there.

    yeah seriously!! you cant even do catted LT's without having to sweat a visual inspection in this shithole haha... we need more california guys. not many people let alone any people are willing to play with the emmisions criteria here. cams are the same and so are intakes... its hard to squeeze any horsepower out of my 4.8 with such bullshit criteria.

    I think a great option would be a motor swap. If you use a motor from a newer vehicle you are allowed to swap up in size. Jump on a 6.0 or 6.2 from a newer truck and ditch the 4.8. I love it when people build serious posted 4.8s, but your conditions require different tactics.

    i love my little 4.8 though haha!! after my next smog i might play around with it.long tubes, cams, springs, pushrods, and some spray, some bigger injectors.
