    Skeet RPR 8/24/2012 NA Pass

Thanks Tony for the help and advise !

went to RPR this PAss friday, didnt or wasnt able to run the nitrous, will next weekend if all goes well. started out with some severe traction issues but after a few runs we finally got her to hook but not good enough cause of the 60 fts were 161, when she normally cuts low 1.5s on motor. <------ gonna do a stall change more then likely

side note: this isnt the best shes gone, she has been 11.303, at 82* in evadale, i am doing another gear change going to 4:56 yes i miss my 4:88s but i'll settle for 4:56s, my NA times are crucial, i went from cutting some high 1:40s to low 1:50s with the 4:88s im wanting to gain some of that back, my stall will also get reworked its to damn tight, talked to chris at circle d he has something he wants me to try out, ill explain later if it works lol.. bring the stall back to a 4600, did some good talking and it sounds promising. Madman has redone the 4 link, we may have something now to help plant the tires, great guy just need to tweak things alittle. basically back to the NA setup, then onto the nitrous, we'll get our 10 sec pass regardless of the heat, i jumped the gun when i went back to a 4:10 gear and 4k stall, thats what i get for listening to people who really dont know, lesson learned i knew what i wanted and what it take to hit the numbers im looking for but i let people who web race the net convince me different, promise it wont happen again, gut feeling is where its at, try it and learn from it!!

Badass david, what is your setup, i do believe mine and yours are pretty close, correct me if im wrong, 823s 6.0 230s/630s cam holley ram intake with fogger system stand alone 2 stage, long tubes, 4400 stall and 410s mines awd though. Not that i think im gonna run what you run but i may have some questions for you if i hit a snag, and who is tuning yours.

408 here build by rage motorsports out of baytown, 25x/26x cam 621 lift nothing special, ls3 ported heads, FAST LSXr intake kooks headers, fully light weight valvetrain from ferrea valves to pac custom made springs which they now offer on there site. going back to a 4600 stall specially built by chris with, gonna try something out he offered. 4:56 gearing, running a nitrous plate with a direct port setup, she has seen a low 10 pass on a 150 hit, but its been down hill ever since with traction issues. quik has been tuning and and i have been tweaking and learning.
