With the current job I will be able to buy a home in one place and travel from location to location from there. It will not require me to find a new home with a promotion.
F' that stay OIL FIELD. If you bust your ass you can advance as far as you want. I started as a Nub rigger/ROV tech. Now a company man for Shell in their highest producing field in the world. 1/4 of all Shell's profits. Aim high and dont give up advancement comes from sore backs and strong minds.

I am and have been looking for a while, any chance they would hire on the spot. Im a 10 year mechanic looking for more and better opportunities.
With no oilfield experience you'd be looking at a shop job (50-60) hours a week at 10 an hour. I'm sure it's not worth it
