    Oh, ok. I was thinking it was a regular M14 which can be had in either caliber. I don't do much research on Mini's and forgot they're .223/5.56.

    The .308 is a smaller cartridge designed more for short range accuracy and for use of compatibility with the NATO 7.62x51 round

    Here is mine. Finally got it shooting 1" groups @ 100yrds. Shot 3" groups from the factory.
