Sorry, i thought I reply'd with pics but guess not. Plenty of room for 2 1/2" or 3" on the sides at the top and room for 4" at the bottom.

Ive been wondering the same also. Looks like he has the smaller radiator though. Im running a 34" rad out of a 3/4 ton truck with factory 06 electric fans. So the rad ends right behind the edge of the headlights. :-/

I have a pic of a truck I found from RGVtrucks of a front mount but not sure how it was done.

old thread but i'm back to thinking about how to do this, I'm thinking a 28" wide radiator and a 28"ish wide 4" thick ebay intercooler then i can run a 3" 90deg bend in the gaps where the 34" radiator was and have some wiggle room and a single trans cooler instead of the two stock ones i have will the the trick, kinda like dbrods has his done from the looks of it. i really hate buying a new radiator since i just replaced this damn thing a year ago due to a cracked tank lol. but i need lower IATS! i just need to win the lottery or something i never have enough money to get all the shit i need haha.

Woah first off keep the 34" radiator. Your IAT's may increase if you swap to the smaller rad and have it that close to the intercooler. Also its important to keep the trans cool so don't sacrifice that for IAT's. You have lots of other options. Why not run a low mount intercooler or add methanol injection? Lots of other good options out there. Lets see some pics of the current setup and go from there.
