    trans break in

Gonna have my 4l80 together saturday. It has red eagle clutches and steels, transgo hd2 shift kit, and 3000 stall . I want this thing to last so what would the proper break in consist of?

Fill with fluid. Run threw gears normally to make sure it upshifts and downshifts correctly. Then beat on it. Change fluid and filter after first 500 miles to get rid of break in trash. Then every 15000. First fluid should b just plain old dex 3. Then run good fluid after first 500

Start it, check fluid level, then mash on it! It will either stay together or blow
