Ha I agree but not this time around.

My goal is a ls 5.3, ls1 intake, big nasty cam, headers, tune and lots of paint and detail to the install and engine bay.

Update: this all stared with me wanting to paint my front frame clip, so I pulled the motor, sold the motor and painted the clip! Now I'm searching for a 5.3 or 6.0. If anyone knows a good place in the DFW area please let me know! I've called some salvage yards and the best deal is it Chris auto in Waxahatchie. Any one have expirence with them?

make sure you measure the stroke, they will try to sell you a 4.8 instead of a 5.3 or 6.0. also check the engines urself for mileage! once the sell you something, no refund what so ever1

Nice ride. Try to stay in the 04-05 range if possible. All good parts and still 24x reluctor. Then just go Nelson harness. Much easier. Good luck.

Dimebagged! What is that color orange and is it a regular base color or a candy? I like it! I do custum paint and been looking for a non candy because living in Texas, candies fade! Looks badd ass and thanks for any info! I live in the Wichita Falls area BTW

Thanks man! I did join a few years ago to do this swap but settled for a tbi instead. Now it's on man! Tore it down two weeks ago and got this far.

Cool Man ur real close! It's Lamborghini orange and base/ clear. Awesome color but I'm kinda sick of it on my truck it's been like 5 years.
