They should be ok unless brittle
What year is ur motor? The ls2 trays are supose to be better. Are u planning to remove your heads when u do the cam swap?

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
If u have more than 100k on motor its a good idea to use the ls2 ones.
If you are going to remove the heads I would recommend them. Mine didn't seem that bad when I built my motor. However, they no longer hold the lifters up on there own during a cam swap.
