With that much weight boost should be your only consideration. Also, good thing about turbo is the mileage doesnt change too much when your out of boost. Heads, cam, higher CR drastically lowers it and with that big truck you want as much as you can![]()

I am contemplating a turbo now. Is there anything out there that I should avoid at all costs (turbokits.com for example).? Also has anyone on here run one of those STS turbo systems?? http://www.ststurbo.com/
I am hoping for best cost effectiveness, and if I ever roll my truck, I want to be able to buy it back, and pull this engine and transmission to drop in to another truck or something else lol (Currently have a 1980 Caprice classic Landaux Sport Coupe, 1987 IROC Z28 Camaro and a 1997 GMC Yukon that could on the receiving end)
