its a three wire sensor two for the computer and one for the gauge i have one in my truck just remove old and install
you can get it from a junk yard off the overflow or any of the three wire with the purple seal
the ones side by side go to pcm other one goes to gauge
well i have the single wire one from the old engine which im going to put on rear of the passenger side head then the 5.3 sensor will go in the front of the driver side head. the 5.3 is a 2wire plug.

Check out this temp sensor setup http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-LS2-LS6-...09477265333595 I think i am going to change to this because the location of the adapter and old temp sensor in the back of the passenger side head is the way of my spark plug wire and very close to the shoenfeld headers. Also makes changing that back spark plug a real pain.
that's what i'm using & it works great.
I'm still trying to figure out how to turn my coolant light off after terminating the stock reservoir and connector..

Ok guys after doing the 3 wire camaro sensor and pigtail, my guage still don't work.
I now have the adapter and got a new 95 sender but it is two wire. Is this correct? I know just one green wire goes ti the guage but what wire on the sender is it? I don't have my stock sensors to plugs anymore.
