Hooking vss wires on 4x4

Been tryin to figure out how to do this for a while. Took the truck for the first drive last night and it won't shift out of first and I think it has to do with the vss. I have the Nelson harness with 2 vss but I'm not sure what to do with the rear sensors for the t case. Right now I have my obs vss connector in the t case and nelsons vss in the front of the tranny so the other vss on nelsons harness is not connected

If I was you I would try to plug the 2 vss in the nelson harness and go road test...if it shift you may need to splice the rear vss with your obs for 4x4 operation. Good luck

Ok and if that doesn't work, do you mean cut their (nelsons) t case vss connector off and put my old obs vss connector on their harness?

Does the vss on your np241 have the same connector the nelsons harness use? If yes the first step would be to simply unhook your obs connector and plug the nelsons second connector.If the tranny shift try the 4x4 and if it don't work (I not sure but think it need a vss input) you may need to cut the 2 wire on your obs vss or nelsons and hook them together so the 6L pcm and the old obs pcm will receive signal of the T-case vss. Before cutting a wire I would try if the 4x4 engage with the first vss on nelsons and the T-case on the obs.If yes it time to cut!

Nope, 2 completely different connectors lol otherwise I would have tried just plugging in nelsons connector. And yes the 4x4 does engage with nelsons input vss connector and my obs output vss. So i will go out there and snip snip. thanks for helpin

it's very simple.
The vss harness we supplied, that goes into the front speed sensor, the ISS, input speed sensors.

The rear vss stays in the same spot as it originally was, either in the tailshaft or the tcase.

Right but the rear vss on the Nelson harness doesn't fit my 94 transfercase

Use the old connector from the old harness.
