    Stock Lq9 is 10:1. If you put a set of unmilled 243's on that would raise the compression to about 11:1. This would probably affect your gas mileage but would gain loads of torque. Probably would put down 320-340 rwhp with the set up you listed. Probably 300-320 ft. lbs. of torque also which is what counts on a daily driver.

    Hey guys still looking into this. The truck is on 26" whees and gas is $5.18-$5.30 a gallon here and he is not to keeen on putting a higher stall in it.

    Labour is not a prob he is a good friend ill swap it in for him

    We were thinking LS6 cam with yellow valve springs and cleaned up 243 heads and get a nelson tun on the hptunner.

    Would this yelled some good power?

    Or what do you guys recommend?

    Well the ls2 is a 400hp 400 ft lb motor.

    I think this would make a awsome daily driver and hope to pick up some gas mileage.

    Nice meeting you yesterday Josh, think with that cam and a set of 243s will be a nice improvement, if you need anything let me know!
