http://m.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G4969. This is the one it say it should stay between 160-200 and it's getting to 190 w/o a stall..... Should have bought a Trucool 40 that's what I get I guess
this was after i put my ecsb back to stock, had a stock 6.0 with a built trans, headers and tune, figured id hook the trans lines back to stock also, week later i got on it, the next day at work trans was slipping, noticed the coolant bottle looked like peto-bismol![]()
i understand the theory about the cooling system and i agree with ya, no doubt its a better way to cool the trans, maybe it was the luck of the draw, but its not a chance ill take anymore![]()
by the way trans line pressures were stock, just like when it was modified !
Simple: 408 on steroids!
single digits coming soon!
I've never had a trans cooler leak in a radiator, I bet that was quite a mess! With all the bad luck I've had over the years that's one failure I haven't encountered, yet. "Knock on wood"

Not the biggest summit has to offer, actually that one is pretty weak for a truck.Try this: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-70274/ I run that one with a 3600 10 inch converter on a 4l80e with a bypassed radiator cooler and it rarely sees above 190. With radiator cooler you should be around 150.

Most sports require one ball, motocross requires two.
Racing isn't a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.
Since the day I put my Tru-Cool 40k on, I have been over 190 ONE TIME with my 258mm 3400 in my 6l80e. If you didn't know, the 6l80e runs hotter than the 4l60 and 4l80. There's a reason everyone uses them.
