what fuel rails are you using? I'm assuming must not be those from the lm7?

From what I've seen most people seem to go with -8an feed and -6an return I believe.

stock truck rails, llike those on an lm7 already have an FPR, so why would you need or want a c5 fuel filter?

just was researching some more on this, i have a single line fuel rail vs the double line fuel rail which is why i bought the corvette filter deal so i could run the return back to the tank. Does this sound right?

Can someone please confirm this for me? I need to get parts ordered but I dont want to order the wrong ones. I was under the impression the with a single inlet fuel rail that the corvette reg/filter would work and could provide the return? I have heard numerous folks doing this but I dont want to order parts if its the wrong way to do it.

I will confirm this for you. From your tank you go to the Corvette filter on the side that has two fittings. You supply fuel into the 3/8" fitting and the internal regulator will return any excess fuel back to the return line via the 5/16" fitting. The side of the Corvette filter that has one 3/8" female fitting will supply fuel to the fuel rail at a rate not to exceed 58 psi.

    Any more questions?

Thanks for the response I really need to get this motor fired and everytime i walk by it sitting on the pallet i am thinking man i need to get these parts ordered...

so just to confirm.. with the single fuel rail on my lm7 this is the way to go? (i dont see a regulator on the rails anywhere) ..

    i am thinking i need
a 640850 for the fuel rail (rail inlet)
a 640850 for the corvette filter (fuel inlet)
a 640860 for the corvette filter (fuel return)

some other fitting for the corvette filter outlet to the fuel rail host

and of course some combo of fittings at the tank (once i figure out which tank to use)

    am i close?

Very much so. You need a 3/8" male fitting for the outlet while all the others should be female. I used a Dorman 3/8" fuel union, cut it into the length needed and then added an 3/8 compression to -AN fitting. There are neater ways but this worked for me.
