reaction time: how long you sat at the light after the green, has nothing to do with your time.
60 foot: how long it took you to travel 60 feet, 1.6 and under is pretty good in a truck.
    330 foot:
    660 foot/1/8th mile
    1000 feet:
    1320 foot/ 1/4 mile

The better 60 foot time you have the better overall time youll have at the 1320 mark, in shawns case if he would have had a good launch aka 60 foot time he woulda been easily into the 10s.

So for you since youll be on motor small stall = slow 60 foot = slow ass truck
Haha, ok ok we'll explained. How much diff. Is between a 228 cam and a 232/234? Performance wise, noticeable diff. Between a 3400 stall compared to a 3600? Jus asking, obviously bigger better, but jus wanna understand cuz everyone tells me what to get,I wanna understand why. Lol.

the cam question will hafta be answered by someone else, a stall lets the transmission slip so as to not engage the driveline until 3000, 3200, 3400, 3600 etc. (which every you buy) rpms at which point the tires start rotating. Thats the simplest way i can explain it, its a lot more technical than that

More air in and out is more power. Simple as that. A good mid/upper 230s cam will gain 30+ hp over a 224. I liked a 236/242 with a 3800 stall, that would be badass. But usable power is more important than any peak power on a dyno. Pick your cam and then pick your stall. Not the other way around. They need to complement each other.
    Slowest in Oklahoma...
