Not going to lie Ive talked trash about keeping up with the fully built guys but if I had the money I'd rock a 4 link and lsx block too. I think we all would. Taking credit away from someone just cause they're 4 linked or tubbed isn't cool. Talking shit about how our "stock suspension" trucks can run the same is just how the average joe makes himself feel better.

the truck is by no means an average joe truck. what im trying to say is if no one pushed the limits of the ls platform then no one would have realized what they can do, if no one tried to make stock suspension work then everyone would go 4-link. im not taking away from what everyone else has by any means. if someone can run these times with a stock motor then they should be able to run much faster with so much more done!! if not then all thats been proven is that a 5.3 is just as capable as a forged big cube motor. i dont buy that so something dont add up!! mitch isnt the first or only person doing this. since my first comment pretty much everything im saying is in referrence to everyone pushing the limits of stock motors to prove the true strength of what we are working with. after all isnt that what racing is all about??

really more than brag about how fast mitchs truck is im trying to stir up trouble so i can see some of these guys with the same stuff but bigger and better push their setups to the very edge and roll around in single digit 5 seaters!!
its just a turbo 5.3 that a couple of kids threw together

days of thunder is kick ass fo sheezy.

on a side note, the guys with the bigass forged motors, have not turned up the boost/nitrous, and did an all out balls to the wall pass. Most these guys are really not even trying yet. and here is one thing ive learned about not have tons of money into your project, if I go out a send a rod thru the block, or mitch for that matter since our internals and block are the same, no biggie grab another 5.3 block buy some arp bolt and good to go. Now if the other guys do that, divorce/house gets repoed hahaha not really but you get the idea.

Most sports require one ball, motocross requires two.

Racing isn't a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.

Neither do I but happened to see that when flipping thorough channels. It actually made NASCAR somewhat interesting for once. The only thing to make me watch it is if the drivers had as much to drink as the spectators lol
