    Need some cam advice

    Got my lq4 in and cleaned up. Decided to go ahead and add a bump stick while its on the stand. I will be occaisionally pulling a ski boat with it. What are some of you guys thought on the gmpp hot cam.

    Relatively mild cam from what i hear, but decent performer.

    The hot cam... some love it, but a lot of people hate it, lol.

    I would look for a mid 22x cam. You like new or used parts?

    Yeah I want it to cut up too! HPI your build thread is awesome. I want to do my trans cooler lines in ss also.

    Thanks! Ill get some pics up of the lines soon, looks like they will work great, just have to make sure clearance is good once the long tubes r installed

    I have a TR224 on a 112 LSA in the 6.0 in my big truck(99 1500 ECSB 9" lift 37" tires). I also have a 10.5" 3400 rpm stall converter. Runs great, ran a 13.0 on 31" tires. I will say that the 224 does fall off on the topend above 6k rpm.
