Finally got the engine cover perfect, I had to sand it all back down, and repaint and clear coat it. It is like a mirror, and these pictures make it look totally red which it is not. Got the transmission up on the engine stand, and all of the fluid drained out.

I pulled the stock servo today, and I ordered a new corvette servo today. I liked what I read on this site about them, so I figured that I would give one a try.

I took the transmission pan off today, which revieled the valve body. I got the wiring harness unsnapped, as I also purchased a shift kit for this transmission. I got the input shaft/drum today for the LS1 style swap. I will snap some pictures tomorrow, and post them when I have a chance.

I ordered the 3" body lift last night, It should be here next wednesday. I will put pictures of that on here as well, seeing as how it's necessary to the swap. Until then.....

Here's some pictures of the inside of the transmission, I swapped the input shaft today which was fun. I also got my shift kit, but I'm returning it because it requires drilling and modification of the valve body so I am going to get one from Summit Racing which doesn't require this.

Today was a major score for me. I got the whole front accessory drive from an 05' Silverado for $150, and he also threw in the alternator, power steering unit, and air compressor. The clutch spins freely on the ac compressor as well, I am going to sandblast the bracket and possibly paint it to match the truck or leave it raw aluminum. He also gave me the truck intake, injectors, fuel rail, and dbw throttle body for free!! Nothing broken, he was going with the LSX carbureated intake and was going to throw this all away.
