Ya, it's luck of the draw. Some will hold to 9.8 sec passes like the black truck Nelson built, others will break at stock power levels. I broke at least a dozen. But most were doing donuts. It's worth it to get some aftermarket ones to be safe. I had the moser axles in my 10 bolt. They worked well, or the Yukon ones would work too I'm sure.

Just did a search and it seems like nobody makes beefy aftermarket axles for the 8.6''. Is this true or am I not looking good enough? The only ones I can find are on page 19 under gm 8.6'' 10 bolt on ron's website. Other than that I couldnt find any
