5.3•TH400 & 3800 stall•Richmond 3.73s with Trutrac
The 6.0 is bored .30 over with 10.5:1's prc stage 2.5 heads and comp cam..thinking about instead of upgrading the tranny..put a stock 5.3 with a cam,and get the 4l60 rebuilt again..that way I won't have to buy another converter,tranny drivelines etc..and just put the 6.0l in something with a manuel tranny..kinda thinking about a fox body mustang lol..would you guys disown me?

The swap isn't overly difficult. Find a good used converter and don't worry about rebuilding it again. You're out less than 2500 (that's the high end) with everything.

80e all the way. And you don't have to change the driveshaft, just the yoke on it.

You should be alright with just a stock 80e what size of stall are you running.
