    Wha should m afr be?

    I'm going to try to get my afr just right on the spray. I've got a million answers on what it should be but what's yalls 2 cents? It will be a 150 shot on the a pretty much stock 5.3.

    Anywhere between 11.2 and 12.4 lol, hows that? This should be checked by reading your plugs... not your AFR. Then use your gauge as a reference but remember 02's don't like N20 (this is why you don't just use AFR). Search ''How to read plugs and nitrous" and read away. Every setup is different... don't get stuck on a base number.

    Who needs afr, just spray it, if it starts banging and acting funny pull more timing

    I always tune by looking at the plugs but this is the first time I've used a wide band. I tried to make a few passes last night but the tranny slips as soon as I get on the button. My motor and tranny swap will be sooner than I think.

    Start by checking your plugs, tune according to them. Then when they're happy take note of your wideband reading and start using that as a quick reference.
