    If that is all that's done I wouldn't worry too much. One thing though... Who did the tune? If it is Malone, or the like then I would keep the tune and upgrade the clutch. Some VW tune's are sketch tho.

    The current owner doesn't know but I'm sure I could get in touch with the PO and find out. I'm not really looking to have something to go fast in, just want something to DD without being bored so I don't really plan on doing anymore upgrades to it. If the clutch goes out on me I'd probably get one that's slightly better though

    Sounds good. I was just thinking about it and I think that year of GTI actually has one of the better clutch flywheel setups. You should be good to go. Enjoy it.
