That's all I learned on was haas and one fadal mill
Went in for my interview and hands on test and had a cnc mill infront of me with farnuc controls and I was totally lost, but I figured it out after a crash corse from the floor man

Ain't nothing to it, just keep ya head out ya ass, measure twice cut once, don't be afraid to ask questions, and take your time and do things right. Good luck and congratulations.
Haas controls are very similar to fanuc. Once you figure out fanuc, it's actually very easy to program. I ran a mazack at a different job once. It was awful. I did not like it at all.
We programed the lathes using a can cycle. G71 for turning in the z-axis and G72 for facing in the x-axis.
Congrats Todd!
Sweet deal man! Congrats!
Always buying things I dont need to impress people I dont know
congrats on the job. Machinist field is what I've been in since 1980. I have been a CNC programmer and developer since 1990. If you ever have a question about it give me a hollar. I've run all kinds of machines and then went into a long time stent of the desktop side of the job. I work at Bell Helicopter in Grand Prairie, they take really good care of us there.
