    another tranny question- 4l80e

Ok I think i might have a big problem. Ill start from the beginning. Found a tranny on craigslist apparently for a 2000-2004 4x4 6.0 truck. Here is the link...http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/pts/2787914866.html

anyway i bought that tranny and now im startin to think twice that its not the right one. only a few of my harness connectors match up to it. the part number on the case is gm PN 24208421 and when i search it on forums it looks like its for a van. does that mean its for 2wd only? because my truck is going to be 6.0/4l80e/ 4WD. Do you think thats why some of the connectors dont match up? its a really confusing story but my 6.0 and harness was out of a 2005 2WD truck, but i was told it all would work for my 4WD application, i would just need a 4x4 trans....hmmmm......yes my brain is in a pretzel right now.

Not sure what you're talking about. Post pics of what you have questions about. What's it going into? Sure looks like its setup for a 4wd to me but then again I've only seen 2wd units.

For sure 4X4 but if your truck was a 4L60e truck you're going to need a different transfer case or the adapter. Also going to need longer front shaft and shorter rear. About the connectors they should be correct if it is an 80e harness.

Most sports require one ball, motocross requires two.

Racing isn't a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.
